I don't really need much in the way of presents for my birthday, but there 663 million people in the world who don't have clean water, so I'd really like it if you could donate some money to provide it for them instead.
I set the campaign goal at $100 which is enough to give 3 people access to clean water, and will lead to something like $400-$1200 in economic returns.
Charity Water are good because 100% of donations (including credit card fees) go to providing the water. Their overheads are all funded separately by private donors.
When it's complete they will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
