Hi guys! My name is Nukhba Syed and I am 24 years old. My birthday is in a few months (November 18th) and I want nothing more in my life than to be able to have the opportunity to help others. Thank God, I have all that I could ever want, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a blanket and a bed. I wake up everyday with an overflowing amount of gratitude for the life I live but also an overwhelming weight on my shoulders of what I could be doing to help others. I can’t help but think about kids, adults, people just like me living across the world who have problems that can NEVER compare to mine. Who are literally dying because they don’t have access to life’s simple necessities like clean water. It’s so mind boggling to think that I am typing this right now with a gallon of water at my bedside to drink whenever I feel like it, and it seems like such a simple thing but to MILLIONS of people around the world this would be a luxury. I know that a lot of people have trust issues when it comes to donating online but I have done my research and Charity Water has given me no reason to believe that 100% of my money is not going to suppling clean water. They provide you with videos, pictures and even google locations of the wells being built. I started out the year wanting to do a HUGE 25th birthday bash as I would be 1/4 of a century old. But this is WAY better. I don’t need anymore things, what I need is a good night’s sleep knowing YOU and I did something to make a difference in that outrageous number, of people without clean water. I am starting this campaign now with faith that together we WILL reach OUR goal. This campaign might have my name on it, but I can’t do this without YOU. I need your help, they need your help.
