Dear Friends,

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

I have decided to use my upcoming Ironman Race to help this charity. I have been following them for a while and know that they fulfill their promises - 100% of donations go directly to the people in need, the admin costs are covered separately.

And so, I will participate at the Ironman in Hamburg on July 29th:
3.8K Swim, 180K Bike, 42.2K Run.
I have chosen my goal as $ 2260, that is the 226K x 10.
My past average times were 13 hours. For each 5 minutes slower I will personally donate an additional $ 10,--
We are in this together.

What can YOU do?
Only donate whatever you can afford - no amount is too small or too big!
And you can hope for lot's of bad luck during my race so I will be even slower than usual...no wet suit during the swim, head winds and a punctured tyre on the bike: you name it.
