Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

My birthday is coming soon. Instead of birthday presents I wanted to give something to others. So I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me. I suggest $44 per donation since I'll be 44 years old. If you cannot do that - donate half that is $22. If you cannot do that- donate half of the half, that is, $11. And if you cannot do even that, simply donate $4 as part of the number of my years (4+4). My goal is $500 but I don't mind if we go beyond that :)

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Zblizaja sie moje 44 urodziny... tak, jestem juz tak "wiekowy". Choc presenty sa fajne, pomyslalem ze zamiast otrzymywac pomoge dac cos innym. Znalazlem ta organizacje "przez przypadek" i dobro jakie wnosi ona w zycie ludzi zainspirowalo mnie na tyle by sprobowac zrobic tez cos takiego.

Jesli mozecie, zlozcie prosze donacje - calosc (!) zostanie przekazana na czysta wode dla innych.

Sugeruje np. $44 przez wzglad na liczbne moich lat. Jesli ktos nie moze tyle - dajcie polowe czyli $22. Jesli nie, to polowe polowy ;) czyli $11, a jesli nie mozecie tyle to dajcie nawet $4 jako czesci skladowe moich lat (4+4). Mozemy miec frajde a kto wie, moze pomozemy innym ludziom w potrzebie. Moj cel to $500, ale jesli bedzie wiecej to czemu nie ;)
