'Tis the Season! There are 800 million people living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Thanksgiving and the holiday season is a time for gratitude and giving. The perfect time to reflect on family and friends, the gifts we have, celebration and love.

It’s also a time when we in the US alone spend over $500 billion on holiday gifts. This year, I'm taking a step back -- I want to give more than gifts that fit in boxes.

I want to give people life in the most basic way. I'm forgoing presents this year and asking you to give instead. I encourage you to donate $42 dollars to my campaign. That's $1 for every day between Thanksgiving and the end of 2014. My goal is to raise at least $2105. Keurig will also match dollar for dollar every dollar you donate. To up the ante, I will happily do an act of kindness (of your choosing) in return for your donation... parents that can include 2 hours of babysitting for you! Be creative.
Or I will sing in my best shower voice a song of your choice and post on FB in a show of gratitude, silliness and slight humilaition.

800 million people are living without clean drinking water on our planet. My mission is to give clean water for the holidays this year. 100% of every dollar I raise will go directly to water projects.
