Why Data Beats Intuition is fundraising for clean water

Many of us are remarkably fortunate: we've never had to suffer through extreme thirst. Our infrastructure provides us with plenty of clean water to drink.

There are, however, people around the world who don't have that luxury. Approximately 1,400 children die -- every single day -- from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. This does not have to be a statistic we merely accept and live with. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities across the globe.

We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects in areas that need them most, and we look forward to anyone who can help make this a reality for people far less fortunate than ourselves.

Please make a donation to our campaign. Anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
