I recently learned about charity: water, a non-profit organization that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Apart from opening my eyes to this worthy cause, the story of its founder is incredibly inspiring and they are reinventing how charities work.

663 million people live without clean water – nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide, and diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. But we can change that. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
