Clean water. We drink it, we wash our food with it, we even clean our streets with it. With such an abundance of access to clean water, its easy to forget over 1 billion people on the planet are without it. This lack of access kills more people each year than all other forms of violence on earth - including war. Each week, 42,000 people die, mostly children, from diseases borne out of dirty water. But we can do something about it. Here's how.
Rubicon Property, www.rubiconNYC.com, seeks to connect the essential element of living in NYC, which is real estate, with the essential element of the developing world, which is clean water. When our firm brokers a transaction, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity:water. Even if you aren't in the market, you can still make a difference.
