We already have everything we need and are fortunate enough to be able to buy most of the stuff we want. Some people don't even have access to clean water. So, this year, if feel you would like to do something for our birthdays, we'd love for that to be a donation towards building a well to help those who need it most. Absolutely not obligatory! Just for anyone who insists :)

We've chosen this charity because 100% of donations go towards funding projects, not administrative costs, and because we believe that having access to clean water should be a basic human right, regardless of the life you were born into.

A bit from the organisers of this charity...

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
