I have too much. I have more resources than I need to survive on a day-to-day basis without fear of disease or need to walk half the day. The least I can do is give to people who need water. I hear all the time that we need to solve world hunger, but before we can even do that, we need to fix the shortage of clean water. This is the best cause I can imagine to donate to, because it addresses the most basic physical need humanity
has.

I have watched this charity grow for a few years now, and can say that they are doing amazing work and have made measurable progress to make this world a better place. They also strive to make their projects last well beyond their own involvement by training local communities in basic repairs, and by training people in the region to handle more complicated repairs for a larger area.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
