My birthday is a little over a week away and as I’m sitting here anticipating the endless possibilities of drinks to experience, I am aware of what a luxury that is.

1 in 10 people have no access to safe, drinkable water. This is the #1 cause of death in the world and it takes the lives of 1,400 children every day. In America, we are incredibly lucky to have water everywhere we turn, and fortunate to be able to give, when so many are struggling to even survive.

This is why I want to do something special this year. For my 21st birthday on May 11th, I ask that instead of gifts, please donate $21 if you can. Any amount, no matter how small, will help. 100% of the money raised will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, Charity: Water will send GPS coordinates of the exact community we helped.
