It's that time of year again. The vague season where the anniversary of my name day floats in time and a small group of people in the world celebrate me. But when I was born, so were dozens of others at the same time. Who celebrates them? Those without enough money to buy some balloons. Or a cake. Or more simply: water.

Millions of people in this world are dying. Because they don't have water. A resource we all take for granted. Walk to the fridge. Get some water. Go to a restaurant. Let the waitress fill your 12 oz glass up to the brim just as you're leaving. You don't even take a sip. But what's it matter? That water was free. Right?

Just a simple act of altruism. Donate. Donate and save lives. $20 can save ONE. PERSON'S. LIFE. Their life is worth the cost of a date to Olive Garden. Some gas money. A concert ticket. That new bag. Or those shoes. That shirt. A few cups of coffee. Two months of membership at Planet Fitness. A $20 bill.
