I am donating my birthday to help bring clean water to people that don't have that luxury. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Yet it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilling wells, protecting springs and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I want to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I would prefer that you contribute to this fundraising campaign rather than spending money on a birthday present I don't really need.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

To all my donors,
I want to say a huge thank you for helping me reach my birthday goal of raising $1,500 for charity:water. In fact, we raised $1,605 in total.
Every penny of that money will go directly to the field to provide access to clean water for 55 people that didn’t have it before.
Once the money has been allocated and spent, I will send you details of exactly where those 55 people live and maybe even a photo of their new well, if I can get one.
