Let the countdown to our 30th birthday and the countup towards our fundraising goal begin!
There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!
Our 30th birthday is almost here! We don't usually ask for presents but, this year, we're making an exception.
We are thankful to have lived another happy, healthy and fulfilling year. Having been born and raised in Ethiopia, we know first-hand the challenges our counterparts and millions others in developing countries face every day because of the lack of access to clean water. Water is everything. It is a basic human need. We can help change the lives of the 748 million people around the world who don't have it.
We are asking for our age in dollars from everyone we know, or ANY amount at all. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
Help us reach our goal. Please donate to our "Clean-30" (in the name of clean water) campaign!
Cheers to getting clean water to those that need it the most.
