Thank you for visiting my page!! This campaign has been near my heart for the past 6 months, and I'm so excited to finally share it with all of you!! The goal of this page is to provide water to people who need it- and if I reach my goal, 20 people will gain access to clean water sources,

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Another reason this organization is so important to me is the lives they change. 100% of the communities Charity: Water serves have a culture which places the burden of collecting water solely on the (literal) backs of women and children. These women spend their days walking an average of 3.7 miles per day to collect dirty water from dangerous rivers and lakes. By building wells and pumps right inside the communities, these women and children get to go to school or work instead of spending their days collecting water.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me. My goal of $600 can ensure 20 people will gain access to clean water.
