Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Spring
For my birthday this year (29th December) I want to raise awareness of a fantastic non-profit organisation called Charity: water. I’m donating to this charity and would like to raise a little more money for them as their aim of bringing clean water to all developing countries is such a great cause. I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help them reach their goal. I've included information about charity: water below.
charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. In just ten years, we've funded more than 29,000 water projects in 26 developing countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 8.4 million people.
Nearly 663 million people in our world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.
The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. And with the help of 1,000,000+ donors and individual fundraisers, we're forming a strong force against the water crisis.
