The Sierra Snowflakes are a group of 10 second-grade friends who are putting our crafting skills to work and partnering with Charity:Water to bring clean water to communities without it. We've learned that just 3% of the earth's water is drinkable and we want to be sure people everywhere have access to it.
Combining puzzle pieces, popsicle sticks, paint, ribbon, glue, glitter, and a little flare, we've made snowflake ornaments to sell at this year's Soroptishop craft fair in Truckee, CA. Our goal is to sell 100 ornaments and donate the proceeds so Charity:Water can bring clean water to 10 more people, maybe 10 young friends like ourselves.
We invite you to join our team and "help us solve the global clean water puzzle!"
100% of the money we raise for Charity:Water will go directly to a clean water project because private donations cover all of the organization's overhead. We look forward to seeing pictures and learning where in the world you'll help us to bring clean water!
