One of the greatest causes of poverty in Africa is also the most overlooked...the lack of access to clean drinking water. Yet, there are 663 million people on the planet who don’t have clean, safe water.
That’s a huge number. In fact, it’s twice the number of people who live in the United States. 1 in 10 people in our world doesn’t have access to the most basic of human needs, something we can’t imagine going 12 hours without.
The situation of access to clean water and sanitation in rural Africa is even more dismal than statistics imply.
After focusing on this issue for quite some time, I decided that it was necessary to take action and make a difference.
I hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

For one thing, Charity Water is going to use your gift to fund various of water projects in about 24 different countries. Your generosity is going to help innovate their countries by providing freshwater wells, rainwater catchments, sand filters, and much more.
The greatest part about this is that in about 20 months or so, we will be receiving an update to where the money went and who it helped!
