Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share this with you all during the holidays and substitute a gift exchange with giving to others that suffer daily as they struggle to gain access to clean water. I wanted to introduce you to a cause that I care deeply about. Charity Water is something that I believe very strongly in and am proud to be a monthly supporter of. Water is something that is often taken for granted, and growing up with access to clean water has afforded me many advantages that other people never get to have. It's hard to think of what life would be like without water, and how difficult it would be to progress in this life without it.

Water is also something that is often mentioned in the scriptures and is used as an analogy for gaining spiritual knowledge.

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

In partaking of the ‘living water’ of the gospel of Jesus Christ we are able to build our testimonies on the teachings of the savior. I encourage you to think of the importance of providing others clean water which enables them to live happy, healthy, and productive lives just as we have the ability to drink freely of the living water that is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Many in the world are searching, often intensely, for a source of refreshment that will quench their yearning for meaning and direction in their lives. They crave a cool, satisfying drink of insight and knowledge that will soothe their parched souls. Their spirits cry out for life-sustaining experiences of peace and calm to nourish and enliven their withering hearts."

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
