Why Steven Aikens is fundraising for clean water

This past April, I was giving the opportunity to become an official charity: water ambassador along with 24 other amazing individuals around the country after being a volunteer for 7 years. This year, my 27th birthday on June 20 isn't about me.

663 MILLION people in the world live without access to clean and safe drinking water. But we can change that! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

And charity: water doesn't joke around about their 100% model; even credit card processing fees are reimbursed. All operations costs are funded through a separate ground called The Well so all of your money goes to clean water.

So, what do you say? Can you help me raise $1,350 for my 27th birthday?
