Hello friends - Thanks for visiting my campaign site.
On 19th November 2017, I will be running my first ever Half Marathon. I have decided to run for charity to keep me motivated and accountable as well as raise money for an important cause. The charity I will be supporting will be 'Charity: Water.' An incredible project which brings clean drinking water to disadvantaged families across the world.
100% of money donated goes directly to these communities and funds clean water projects. Nothing goes into the pockets of the charity staff.
Did you know that many people around the world still don't have access to clean drinking water. Something that many of us take for granted. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
If I make my target, 20 people will get access to clean water!
As mentioned, 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

On Sunday I completed the half-marathon challenge. It was a very tough course. Lost my shoes a couple of times in the mud but managed to stay on my feet. I finished the course in 2 hours 17 minutes which is by no means competitive but for my first time under tough conditions, not too bad ;) Thanks for all of your support and donations to this great cause.
