Why Suzy Chisholm is fundraising for clean water

A couple of years ago I stumbled upon the Water Charity Organisation. Their mission, their stories and their team moved my heart. Think about it, “663 million people in the world live without clean water”. This figure is difficult to fathom. If there was a way, I wanted to do my part.

One of the stories on their website I remember so distinctly was of a mother who wasn’t able to provide her children with water to drink. Image that. Your kids come to you crying because they are thirsty and you have nothing to offer them. It brings tears to my eyes. I, like every other parent, have had my fair share of sleepless nights worrying about my kids but never, NEVER, because I couldn’t fulfill their physiological needs. When my kids used to cry about not getting things it was because the latest lego rave wasn’t in their possession or as they got older, the latest iPhone was completely out of their budget. I could always provide them with water.

How to support me to ultimately support another Mother out there? Click on the DONATE button and leave your mark. And check out my blog (http://suzys50tasks.com/6-working-for-water/) to see what I am doing for my part. It is my hope that through our combined efforts, we can better the life of one person and the ones they hold dearest. Thank you.
