It started with a look in 2004. She says it was at the Forest Lake Auditorium, and I say that it was at Night of Joy at Disney a few months later with a group of friends.

But that’s neither here nor there. What matters is that it started with a look, which became a stare, which became a conversation which led to a friendship and subsequently turned into a relationship resulting in a lifelong commitment to each other which was cemented in the bonds of marriage 10 years ago today.

One of the many things we talked about in our thousands of conversations was our love for charity: water. We love it because we LOVE what they stand for: radical integrity, full-on transparency and unapologetic generosity.

Their donation model is unique because it’s set up in a way that 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped which we then get to share with you all!!

And that is why, on our 10th Year Wedding Anniversary, we would like to invite you to celebrate with us. TenForTen is the name of our campaign, and our goal is simple. Ten bucks for ten years of wedded bliss!!
