Each year another birthday rolls around...and each year, we are showered with lots of gifts from our loving family and friends. And most of the time, it's gifts we don't even need. Our closets are full..toy boxes overflowing, etc. and to be honest, we can't even remember what we got last year. But this year we want it to be different.

This year, we're giving up our birthdays. We are asking everyone we know to give to charity water. Charity Water is an organization donating 100% of the money to build water wells in developing countries.
In June 2009 we were blessed to travel to Ethiopia. We saw with our own eyes the struggle, the poverty, and women, and very young children walking very long distances just to have WATER...not CLEAN water. Dirty, murky, disease infested water. We have not forgotten these people, and the people like them. And we can no longer fill our homes with MORE STUFF that we can live without.
Our boys have been praying for God to give EVERYONE the opportunity to have clean water...and God is using our boys in a mighty way. We found this organization and hope and pray that you will challenge your family to donate to our fundraiser. Our family goal is $5,000. This will build a well....DREAMin' Big.
