I used to keep my birthday to myself, I didn't like making a fuss and had hidden the date from my facebook profile. But now I look forward to it, through my amazing friends and family it's become a source of goodness.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that cam provide clean water to communities around the world.
100% of the money we raise will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the difference you made to the world.
If you cannot afford a donation during this campaign would you please consider a blood donation to the Red Cross? 1 in 3 will need blood in their life-time but only 1 in 30 donate.
