Hello friends and family! (or anyone who happens to stumble upon this). I decided to do this for my birthday because the reality is, I dont really need anything, I have more than what I need. So do most of us. You and I dont know what its like to be actually thirsty, we have plenty of water to drink, even our bathroom water is clean!
Not everyone has that luxury. Millions of people dont know what clean water tastes like. Every day, about 1,400 CHILDREN die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Although it may seem too little, any change can make an impact, we can all be a part of the solution.
Any donation given is better than any birthday gift I could've asked for.
And if you ever feel like you're too insignificant or unable to make a change, remember what Dalai Lama said, "If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito."
