I have 3 daughters who will hopefully never deal with these hardships, but not all young women can say that.

There are many reasons to support Charity:water, but three sweet, fun, and occasionally crazy daughters are my reasons.

A lack of water is a tragic reality, and it goes beyond just the obvious. If my girls were instead born in a village in Africa it would be there job to provide water, taking hours every day to walk to and from the nearest well. These are hours that would not be spent playing or even going to school.

Every year women spend 40 BILLION hours gathering water. When charity:water digs a well, it is an entire village that benefits from clean water to drink. And those little girls get to go to school, start businesses, and provide for the economic growth of their community.
