Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
On November 20th, I will turn 27 years old. I don't want any gifts. I have too much stuff as it is. So I'm donating my birthday to help provide clean water to the 800 million people in the world that don't have access to it.
I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. 100% of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Once completed, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded (which takes about 21 months). We'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
Right now, Keurig is matching every donation to charity: water. With their matching funds, I only need 50 people to donate $27 to reach my goal of $2,700. That will provide clean water to 77 people!
