A message from Tyler:

"Clean water is important. I want to do this so that people around the world can have clean, fresh water. Many people around the world don't even know what clean water tastes like, and they get sick from drinking dirty water.
charity: water will build them a well so they can be healthy and go to school and not spend hours a day walking for water that harms them.
Please donate whatever you would have spent buying me a present or donate $9 since it is my 9th birthday!"

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
