This year Angela and I decided that we would be giving each other only one nominal gift for Christmas and use the remainder of our budgeted funds to support CharityWater.org.

By choosing to donate what is normally spent on one gift at Christmas, you can help provide water to a person in need. Our goal is to raise $2018 by January 1, 2018. We pledge to match any and all donations until we reach our goal and hope to exceed the goal with everyone’s help. We will update all donors with the campaign’s progress and upon its completion.

Additionally, I am pledging to walk 0.5 miles for every outside donation, up to our goal, by year’s end 2018. That’s 1009 miles! I will also post my mileage progress (via FitBit) on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter using #Walk4WaterChris.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and We're looking for anyone who can help us.
