Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury.

I started this fundraising campaign to help "charity: water" build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

I was moved to tears by watching the video of their story, titled "The Spring" (look it up if you haven't watched it). I started thinking, "What can I do NOW to help, apart from making a small monthly donation?"

It occurred to me that lately I've been wanting to practice piano more consistently, yet I never seem to be able to do it every day. And what can be a better motivation than this amazing cause?

So I decided to take on a 100-day piano practice challenge, starting on September 12. I will practice piano for at least two hours every single day, no matter if I'm sick, traveling, or whatever. I'll post proof of it!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, "charity: water" will actually send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped!!!

Again, EVERY PENNY you donate will go to helping these people, none of it is for me.

If I reach my goal of $500, 16 people will gain access to clean water. Anything you can give is a huge help.
