Hi, My name is Sharon. A wife and a mother to a child with wings.
I've been supporting charity:water as a Non-Profit Organisation bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations since a year ago because I believe that Water is LIFE.
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm doing this to give "wings of hope" to all parents especially mothers who are suffering from water scarcity around the world and who have lost their children due to poor sanitation and unclean water.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
We use 100% of all public donations to fund clean water projects, and we prove each one using photos and GPS coordinates on Google Maps. Over the past nine years, with the help of our incredible supporters, we've funded 19,819 water projects in 24 developing countries to serve more than 6.1 million people with clean drinking water.
