It's that time of year again. And I'm not asking for gifts but water, again. "Water?", you say. Let me explain.
For one day, I'm asking you to count how many times you take advantage of clean water. Shower, brushing your teeth, washing your hands, in that Starbucks cup, rinsing your dishes, flushing a toilet, giving water to your dog, watering your plants, washing your face, sipping that water bottle. Now imagine if all of that was done with dirty water because where you live has no clean water. That dirty water harbors diseases that will one day soon destroy your body, infecting your children and setting them up for a short life too.
But here's the thing: you don't have to just wish it wasn't happening. You can do something about. By donating $20, you can give one person clean water for a whole year. Any donation is going to help, as 100% of my total funds this year go to water projects in India this year. And 100% of your donation is tax-deductible.
