My birthday, my rules. And I declare that we will change the world, one drop of water at a time.
663 million people on this planet don’t have access to clean water. 1 out of 11 people in the world drink water that comes from a river, lake or muddy hole in the ground every day. Dirty, contaminated water that has leeches and debris in it. Water that causes disease, keeps kids out of school and takes hours to bring back home.
But you can do something! I joined charity: water’s September Campaign once again because I believe that every person on the planet deserves clean water, and I’m looking for anyone who can help me.
100% of your donation, no matter how big or small, will be used to build clean water projects for people in need. Plus, when they’re complete, charity:water will send you photos and GPS coordinates so you can see the exact community you helped.
This is my sixth year giving up my birthday for clean water, so join me in make a difference once again! Thanks!
