Hi, I'm Kathryn Anne and I am turning 12 years old this summer. For my birthday this year, instead for presents from my friends and family, I want to help those that are less fortunate than I am, those without clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

So I am starting a campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects for those without access to clean water. Feel free to donate any amount you want. Every dollar counts! I would love to raise $1200 for my 12th birthday.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
