Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign. My birthday is in December and am asking people to donate $40 for my 40th. But anything you can give is a huge help. My total fundraising goal is $4000, which I'm breaking down into 4 seasonal goals of $1000 each.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Thank you, again, to EACH of my wonderful donors. Together we've raised $1,086!! That's MORE than my initial goal. More importantly, we have helped 36 new people gain access to clean water! 100% of the money we've raised will be sent to the field where it's about to change lives. Over the next 21 months, the money will be put to work to build clean water projects, and Charity:Water will be back in touch to let us know just where in the world we are now connected. I will be launching phase 2 of my campaign (and fundraising through December.) Feel free to spread the word to friends and family that we are making a difference and invite them to join in.
