So, by the way, Amigos...
My birthday is arriving in August, and in honor of being born in one of the hottest and driest months in the U.S., as well as being an advocate for clean water access for people, agriculture and wildlife, I'd like to offer my continued support to charity: water's continued efforts to be a good neighbor. Join in?
Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects (wells, latrines, etc.). Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). (Yes, they have underwriters for admin needs.)
The $680 goal is enough to support drinking water for ten people, and just so happens to be the ambitious number invented via the age I am to be in a few months (34) x the age bouncers think I am when they card me at the door (20).

*The cover image was taken while flying to Tuscon, AZ to visit an amigo, Andrew Gall, who recently graduated with a Master's which was completed in honor of his passion for clean water access for rural and migrant communities. That book, mi amigo, and the trip (Arizona climate, Tucson's needs, and The Desert Museum) taught me much in the way of water being an essential element to life.
