February 8th, 2018 is our Middle School Make A Difference Day. Each grade level will be suspending classes for a day to dedicate their time and energy to volunteering for a valuable cause.

Our 5th graders are participating in a Walk for Water. Many of us don't know the feeling of being thirsty and not having readily available potable, tap water. Every day, lives are fatally affected due to diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. The 5th graders are taking action by walking laps around our track field in honor of the distance many families must walk to obtain clean water. Students will set realistic lap goals and raise money to promote water projects in vulnerable communities abroad. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters, and these projects need our funding to be sustainable.

We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world.

Please donate to our 5th graders' campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help!!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
