We donate 10% of our profits to charity: water, but even if you don't drink our coffee, you can still help out!
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 1,400 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. 100% of funds donated to charity: water go directly to these types of projects.
This is Well Grounded's first campaign and we need your help reaching our goal. People who drink our coffee automatically get part of their purchase set aside to be donated during our quarterly campaigns. This one will (hopefully) be the smallest donation, because startup costs are high. We will donate $100 a month until we can afford more. We've been open almost 2 months, so we'll be donating $200 during this campaign.
The great thing about this campaign is people who don't enjoy coffee or don't live near our shop can donate to the amazing cause. Also, for the month of June, any of the tips made during events will be donated to charity: water. Our next campaign will start September 1st.
