Hi friends!
I’m turning 25 in 5 days. As most of you know, I’m in Dominica studying medicine. It’s been a rough couple months but I really do enjoy what I’m learning. Just to update you a bit on my life, all I'm really doing is studying... and sweating.
I sweat so much here! I sweat when I’m eating, when I’m studying, and of course when I’m walking to school in the blazing sun on this Caribbean island. I sweat quite excessively (even my classmates ask me if I just came back from the gym when they see me.) So I figured I can use this to my advantage!
My plan is to not take a shower until I raise $1,500 in order to raise money for clean water. It’s devastating how there are still about 800 million people in the world who don’t have access to the most basic and essential need in life - clean water. I don’t ever want to forget that and I’m sure my classmates won’t either once they start smelling something funny, which of course will be me! I'm almost sure this goes against some Ross code of ethics so please don't let me get into too much trouble!
So dear friends, thank you for pushing me further to go beyond my limits. I surely can’t do this without you!
