A four minute shower uses approximately 20 to 40 gallons of water. An average American uses 150 gallons of water per day. The average person in a developing nation struggles to find 5.

This time I won't go crazy by asking you to make a dent in your wallet (although that should be the case for those of us who call ourselves Christian) but I would really like to find 9 other people who would like to hold me accountable as well as vice versa to the way we can conserve water. And it's quite simple: take shorter showers.

Ten minutes/day. Sounds reasonable enough yeah?
There are 2 reasons why I would like you to do this.
One: the water crisis is serious and it's not just affecting developing nations but it's affecting us right here in America.
Two: it's a reminder of how good we really have it.

Now, because I am super ambitious and every time I make a campaign, I fail to reach my goal, I'm going to simply ask for $10 for those of you who want to do this with me -- to show your commitment plus $100 can supply water to 5 people - a whole family!

And because I'm such a loser, I'm going to offer my services of a free water-proof sticker to stick on your shower head or tile or wherever you please to remind you "ten minutes/day". I will drive to your house and stick it on for you if you want. Okay, I am like half serious. I really did look into water resistant stickers. When I figure it out, I'll let you know. I don't know what else to say now.

So yeah that's it. Maybe for the guys, this isn't such a big deal. But for the girls, who have to take the time to shave and apply not just shampoo but conditioner, it's tough stuff! :)

I'm delirious. I always do this stuff when I'm half asleep.
Anyways, I really hope none of you leave me hanging or else I'll be the only smelly one you know.

Maybe I won't even shower tomorrow. Ha-ha!
