Happy Birthday Sofia Dale Clark!

For the 11th consecutive year, Uncle Brian has started a charity campaign in Sofia's name, to bring clean drinking water to the poor and underserved communities of the world. It is a way to offer loving compassion to others, to celebrate the shining soul that is Sofia, and to show her the joy of generosity, and the interconnected Life we all share!

It's been a weird year, to say the least, which has left many in a difficult situation - emotionally, financially, or otherwise - and the needs are great; there are a lot of worthy causes warring for our attention. So certainly no pressure or expectation to donate. But even if you can't donate, I hope you will at least support this campaign by offering whatever you can. Share this page on social media! Tell your friends! Start a campaign of your own! Because it is monumentally important that we create a world where everyone has access to clean drinking water. It is one of the best things we can do to empower a community, improve health, education, and quality of life, not to mention level the playing field. For those of us who have so, so much to be grateful for - with material wealth, abundance, and as much clean water as we could ever desire - donating to Charity: Water shows Sofia that we live in a world where we take care of each other; a world where we are all one human family.

I am grateful for my wonderful niece, Sofia, and for all the generosity of those who selflessly serve and give to something beyond themselves. A $40 donation provides a person living somewhere in the world with clean drinking water, transforming a life in a radical and profound way.
