THE NUTS AND BOLTS:
In honor of Sofia Dale Clark's first birthday on September 27, please consider donating to Charity Water's September Campaign to help supply drinking water for the impoverished Bayaka tribe of central Africa. 100 percent of proceeds go directly to project costs.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
My favorite charity - Charity Water - provides accessible drinking water in a very tangible, effective way. Just $20 can provide somebody who would otherwise have limited or no access to this basic human necessity with clean water for nearly 20 years. Charity Water started in September a few years back and now every September they run a campaign to celebrate their birth month by stepping up efforts for 30 days. Well, since the adorable Sofia was born September 27th, I thought it would be fun to start an annual Sofia fund as a progressive, charitable way to celebrate her birthdays and keep an eye on watching Sofia grow up while also being able to point to how many wells have been drilled in her name, and how many people have clean water access because of it. The campaign ends September 30 so if you can afford to donate something (any little bit helps) please do so soon. Let's start small this year and build to bigger and better things in the future.
